"Hope @ Home," The Adventist Church Response to COVID-19


In response to COVID-19, and increased safety precautions which has led to the closure of Adventist churches, Hope Channel Ghana presents “Hope at Home” an initiative designed to provide Adventist worship services to viewers from the comfort and safety of their homes during the period of the ban.


Hope Channel will bring you live Wednesday prayer services from 7:00-8:00pm and Sabbath services from 8.30am -1:00pm on Saturdays for the next four weeks in the English and Akan languages.


In addition to the “Hope at Home” special live broadcast, Hope Channel will continue to produce its Live programmes, Let’s Pray, Healthy Living, Real Talk, Hope Bible School with only the minimum number of staff necessary to protect the safety and health of all involved.
“Our programming on our channels will continue as usual, and we shall continue attending to our viewer calls and messages,” said Matthew Essuman, head of Programming of Hope Channel Ghana.


God is using technology in these trying to get His message across to all generations. The restricted conditions COVID-19 presents, afford the opportunity to offer viewers an environment of worship and prayer, offering real answers from God’s Word to uplift and remind viewers of the hope in Jesus.”


Hope Channel invites all viewers and any who wish to worship to tune into Hope at Home every Wednesday, Saturday, starting March 18 7:00pm GMT.
